Past Events
In addition to our weekly meditation and Buddhism discussion meetings, we also host a range of events for our members. From guest speakers to community service projects, we strive to provide our members with a diverse set of experiences that support their personal and spiritual growth. Past events have included mindfulness hikes, group chanting sessions, and even a Buddhist-themed escape room. Join us and discover what's next!

"Be the Refuge" by Chenxing Han Book Talk
We were honored to have Chenxing Han, author of the groundbreaking book 'Be the Refuge,' speak at our recent event. This was an exciting opportunity for our members to engage with a prominent figure in the field of Buddhism and learn from their vast experience. We enjoyed a lively and thought-provoking discussion about the themes of the book and how we can apply them to our own lives.

Dharma Talk by Ven. Chung Ohun Lee
Our past event was a success with Ven. Chung Ohun Lee as our keynote speaker. She has accomplished so much in her career as a Buddhist teacher, including being the President of the Committee of Religious NGOs at the UN (1995-1997) and Co-President of the Parliament of World's Religion (1993) to name a few. During her Dharma talk, she emphasized the importance of cultivating gratitude and provided us with valuable lessons and practices to incorporate into our daily lives.

Picnic
The club recently organized a picnic in front of the Kinesiology building. It was a great opportunity for members to socialize and enjoy some delicious food in a beautiful outdoor setting.
